Custom Motorcycle Build Agreement

Version 2026-10-v1 · Last updated: October 18th, 2026

These are the terms of every Mantini Motors custom build. When you order, you review and sign your own copy in My Garage, with your motorcycle, price and payment dates filled in.

1. Parties

This agreement is between Mantini Motors Inc., of 55 Whitbread Avenue, Bolton, Ontario L7E 1R1, Canada ("Mantini Motors", "we", "us"), and the customer named in their personal copy of this agreement ("you", the "Customer").

2. Your motorcycle

We build the motorcycle described in your approved quote (the "Motorcycle"). Your personal copy lists the model, engine, frame colour, quote and order numbers, and VIN.

The full specification is the approved quote together with the build configuration shown in your My Garage account. If they differ, the approved quote applies unless we both agree otherwise in writing.

3. Price and payments

Prices are in US dollars (USD) and do not include taxes or shipping. Any sales taxes that apply to your purchase are added separately, shipping is charged separately (see section 8), and you are responsible for any import duties, tariffs, taxes and brokerage fees charged when the Motorcycle enters your country.

A build deposit of 30% of the total price secures your build slot and must be paid before fabrication begins. The $250 initial deposit counts toward it.

The remaining balance is paid on the payment plan you choose when you approve your quote. Your personal copy lists every installment date and amount.

You may pay early or make partial payments at any time from My Garage without penalty. Early or partial payments reduce your next installment first.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. If you choose automatic payments, you authorize us to charge your saved card on each installment date.

Late payments: there are no late fees. There is a 7-day grace period after each due date. We order parts and continue work as payments are received, so a payment that is more than 7 days late pauses the build and moves your completion date back by at least the time it is late. If a payment is more than 60 days late, section 7 applies.

The Motorcycle is released only after the full price has been paid.

4. The build process

Your build moves through seven stages, which you can follow in My Garage: 1. Design Call, 2. 3D Design, 3. Design Approval, 4. Fabrication, 5. Rough Assembly & Electrical, 6. Paint & Final Assembly, 7. Testing & Delivery.

At Design Approval you confirm the final design. Fabrication starts only after your approval and the build deposit.

We will post progress updates and photos in My Garage. Photos and renders are representative; small differences in finish, colour and parts can occur.

5. Timeline

Builds usually take 8 to 10 weeks to complete after Design Approval and the build deposit. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed date.

Timelines can change because of parts availability, supplier delays, design changes you request, late payments, or events outside our control. We will keep you informed in My Garage.

6. Changes after approval

Small adjustments you ask for while we are still working on your design are included.

Once you have approved the design and we have started detailed design work, 3D printing or fitment testing, a major change costs a minimum of $100 per change, plus any parts or materials already ordered or made that can no longer be used. We will confirm the cost and any change to the timeline in writing (email is fine) before we make the change.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Initial deposit: if, after the Design Call, you do not believe we can build the motorcycle you want, you may cancel and the $250 initial deposit will be refunded in full. Otherwise the initial deposit is non-refundable.

Build deposit and later payments: once you have paid the build deposit, it and all later payments are non-refundable, because your Motorcycle is custom-made for you and we begin designing and ordering parts for it.

Our right to cancel: if a payment is more than 60 days late and we have not agreed on a new payment plan, we may cancel this agreement by giving you written notice (email is fine). In that case we may keep the amounts already paid to cover the design work, labour and parts ordered or made for your build, and we will refund any amount paid beyond those costs. Parts and work in progress remain our property.

8. Completion, pickup and delivery

When the Motorcycle has passed final testing we will let you know it is ready.

Pickup: you are welcome to pick up the Motorcycle free of charge from our shop in Bolton, Ontario.

Shipping: we pack the Motorcycle in a wooden crate and ship it to your door, with a signature required on delivery. Shipping is not included in the price; we quote it separately and it is paid before the Motorcycle ships.

Every shipment is insured. If the crate is lost or damaged in transit, the claim is made under the shipping insurance with the carrier, and we will help you with the claim. Please check the crate when it arrives and note any visible damage before you sign for it.

Import costs: when the Motorcycle is shipped outside Canada, you are responsible for any import duties, tariffs, taxes and brokerage fees. These are set by the border authorities when the shipment is processed; we cannot know or control them in advance.

Ownership passes to you when the Motorcycle has been paid in full and handed over to you or the carrier.

9. Registration, insurance and legal use

We do not state or guarantee that the Motorcycle qualifies, or can be registered, for road use in any state, province or country. Lighting and road-kit equipment do not guarantee registration.

You order the Motorcycle at your own risk in this respect. It is your responsibility to check the laws where you live and ride, and to register, plate and insure the Motorcycle if and where that is possible. We provide a Certificate of Origin.

10. Warranty

Our warranty: for 1 year from delivery, we cover manufacturing defects in the frame and in components we build ourselves.

Third-party parts: we choose high-quality components, but we do not manufacture every part on the Motorcycle (for example the engine, wheels, tyres and electrical parts), so we cannot warranty them. Any manufacturer warranty on those parts is passed on to you where available. In good faith, if such a part breaks while being used correctly, we will work with you to replace it.

How repairs work: covered issues are fixed by sending you a replacement part, which you install yourself; these motorcycles are designed to be simple to work on. We do not pay to ship the Motorcycle to us or back to you.

Not covered: normal wear and tear, misuse, crashes, racing, lack of maintenance, and changes made by anyone other than us.

Except for the warranty in this section, and to the extent permitted by law, the Motorcycle is sold "as is", and we make no other warranties or representations, express or implied, including about merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in this agreement takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

11. Safety and responsibility

Riding a motorcycle carries a risk of serious injury. You agree to wear proper protective equipment, ride within your ability and follow the maintenance guidance we provide.

You use the Motorcycle at your own risk and are responsible for how it is ridden, maintained and used.

To the extent permitted by law: (a) our total liability arising from this agreement or the Motorcycle is limited to the amount you paid us for it; (b) we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of use, lost income, or transport and storage costs; and (c) we are not liable for injury, death or damage arising from the use, misuse, modification or improper maintenance of the Motorcycle. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Photos and privacy

We may share photos and videos of your build on our website and social media. We will not publish your name or personal details without your permission. To opt out, email info@mantini.co.

We use your information only to build, deliver and support your Motorcycle and to process payments. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by us.

13. General

Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events outside their reasonable control.

This agreement, the approved quote and written change orders are the entire agreement between us.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

You agree that typing your full name and selecting "I agree" in My Garage is your electronic signature and has the same effect as a handwritten signature.
